In the space of a few short weeks, the Coronavirus crisis has upended almost every aspect of American life. As the pandemic hit California, the City of West Hollywood quickly emerged as one of the communities in L.A. County hit hardest by COVID-19. Recognizing the seriousness of the unfolding situation West Hollywood acted swiftly to enact emergency measures aimed at saving lives and protecting both residents and businesses.
The rapid pace of new developments means that communicating effectively with the community is now more important than ever. Kilter is partnering with WeHo to develop communication materials focused on conveying vital information in a tone that is clear, calm, and distinctively West Hollywood. We are working closely with the city’s internal communication team to quickly generate graphics that can respond to the situation in real-time. We feel honored to be a part of this still-unfolding effort and to be able to contribute in some small way to the emergency response to COVID-19.

As part of our ongoing collaboration, Kilter partnered with the city to develop a strong consumer-facing brand for its recently launched WeHo OUT Zone program.
Temple City tasked Kilter with reimagining their biannual magazine to better represent & engage this population and connect them with important happenings at City Hall. To meet this challenge, we rethought the magazine from the ground up.
