Open Arts & Music Festival

We partnered with Glendale Arts to rebrand the 3rd annual Open Arts & Music Festival. The festival is a free all-ages event that connects members of the local community to the arts and one another. We designed a dynamic look & feel that visually depicts the way OAM brings together artists and audiences and paired it with a headline that distills the appeal of the event to three simple beats — “Art, Music, You.” We applied the resulting identity to a variety of marketing touchpoints —from a website, to digital & outdoor advertising, and print collateral. The end result was an exciting message-driven campaign that helped to drive a 33% increase in attendance from the prior year.

California Institute of the Arts

We were thrilled to promote the inaugural Discover Studio Art and Discover Animation programs for California Institute of the Arts. This program is an intensive experience that allows young artists an opportunity to engage with new and innovative art while thinking critically about what makes it art and developing their individual artistic voice, and so we sought to create an interactive design that revealed different messages as it was erased.

CaltechLive

Drawing inspiration from a past CaltechLive performer who declared that “music is where math meets emotion,” we crafted a visual system and tone of voice that highlights the intersection of science and the arts.
