Harnessing the power of play.
Kidspace Children’s Museum
We partnered with Kidspace Children’s Museum in Pasadena to create a vibrant new design language for their annual report. Known for their exuberant use of color and maximized compositions, we seized the opportunity to strip down and restrain the look and feel of this report. Utilizing their colorful brand, we created space and buoyancy by creating rings of color and lightening up their canvas. By expanding their visual language to include gradients, we covered the complete spectrum with less elements, creating a more sophisticated report and corresponding signage for the museum. The narrative emphasizes the access, joy, and power of play the museum brings to the community every year. Read the full report here.

Kilter partnered with the Columbia Memorial Space Center to promote the launch of 2019’s City of STEM, the largest science festival in Greater Los Angeles. The event featured over 100 unique partners and included mobile museums, tech demos, a career lounge, and opportunities to engage with every aspect of the STEM world.
By employing a vibrant and approachable visual language we were able to create a report that put the focus on INN’s story and functioned equally well across both print and digital platforms.
